About Us
Precision propellers, engineered for the sea.
Putra Karya Logam Sukses has been casting and machining marine propellers from our foundry in Asahan, North Sumatra, since 2014 — built on decades of hands-on propeller repair dating back to the 1990s.

Our Story
From a small repair shop to a complete propeller house
PKLS traces its roots to the 1990s, when we started out repairing and reworking marine propellers by hand for the boats around us. There was no foundry, no machine shop; just the practical work of straightening, re-pitching and restoring worn blades to get vessels back on the water.
In 2014 we took the next step and set up our own foundry in Asahan, North Sumatra, so we could cast propellers from scratch rather than only repair them. From there the workshop kept growing into what it is today: the capability to handle the full life-cycle of a marine propeller — from raw casting and machining to balancing and final finishing — entirely in-house.
Those decades of hands-on repair still shape how we build. We know how a propeller wears, fails and performs in the water, and that understanding goes into every one we cast.
Today Putra Karya Logam Sukses — also known as Bankison — supplies propellers, shafts and parts for fishing vessels, tugboats and cargo ships across Indonesia, with stockists in several provinces. Our products reach the market under three registered trademarks: Dua Ikan Tongkol, Jangkar and Bankison.
What Drives Us
Four principles, every propeller
Precision above all
Every propeller is measured, tested and documented before it leaves our floor. Tolerances are not approximate.
In-house, end to end
Casting, machining, balancing and finishing all under one roof. No outsourcing — full control over quality at every stage.
Fast where it counts
Downtime costs money. Repair and reconditioning jobs are prioritised so vessels return to the water faster.
